At Comet.co.uk, delivery is free on certain items that are marked with a green flag. If an item is available for free delivery, then it will be classed as a “No preference delivery”, meaning that the item will be delivered between 8am and 6pm.

Comet offer two main delivery services: Small Item Delivery (by courier) and Large Item Delivery (by Comet themselves). Small Item Delivery includes games consoles, games and accessories.

Here are the delivery charges and times for Comet's Small Item Delivery:

• Mon-Fri all day (8am-6pm) will cost £5.95.

• Mon-Fri AM (8am-1pm) will cost £7.95.

• Saturday (8am-6pm) will cost £11.95.

Comet guarantees that your delivery will arrive on time and will refund your delivery charge if this does not happen. If your delivery is late, contact the Comet Delivery Centre on 08705 425 425 (option 2), to arrange a refund of your delivery charge.

Ordering from Comet: Refunds and Returns Policy

Comet will refund in full for, or exchange for an item of equal value, any unopened items that you return within 28 days of delivery or purchase. Any opened products bought through the website are also subject to a 7 day refund or exchange.

If you wish to return a faulty portable product, take it to your nearest Comet store, where the product will be inspected. If it's found to be faulty, your options will be explained to you. If an item is faulty and is within the manufacturers guarantee period, the product can be repaired for free by a Comet approved engineer.

To return large items, please phone the Comet Customer Services and they will arrange a pick up time.

The Comet Price Guarantee is offered on all products. If you find the same item priced lower by their competitors elsewhere, then Comet will lower its price to match it. This is only valid on new items, not second-hand products. This applies for up to 14 days after purchase as well.

Comet offers two types of Extended Warranty on their products:

• Instant Replacement Cover – Extends the warranty on the product to 3 years from purchase. This is often offered on smaller products under £130.

• Total Product Cover – Gives you the opportunity to extend the warranty to either 3 years or 5 years. This cover is offered on larger products costing over £130.
